Sketch N Stash challenge # 114

A very cheery hello to you my dear blogging friends I hope you had a lovely weekend mine was busy and flew by, I was in work all day Saturday, then came home to babysit our 17 month old grandson who stayed over while mummy went out to celebrate her birthday which was earlier in the week, he woke at 6.40 am Sunday morning and was a non stop whirlwind of fun until I took him home at 6.00 pm, I couldn't take him home lunch time as planned as mummy was ill (hang over!!!) I can tell I am getting old I fell into bed LOL.

My card today is my DT card for the 
Sketch n Stash challenge.

'Marvellous squares & Elegant lady

Hello my lovely blogging friends I hope you are well, I am off to work in a little while, dreaded evening shift, not too bad though I will be home by 11ish, fingers crossed it's a quiet night.

As I mentioned in my last post, I am trying to remember to take photo's of my commissioned cards. 

In the last two weeks we celebrated three of my children's birthdays (I didn't plan that very well did I !!) and I forgot to take photo's of those cards too.[note to self what's the point of having a card blog when I forget to show the cards I make]

Anyway today's card is for a lady who's sister lives in France, the order stated "for a middle aged lady lives in France, no message on front, just thinking of you inside" when I asked for a bit more info likes etc the lady e-mailed back saying "well she is very elegant so anything along those lines please!!!" well the paper has the word 'Paris' and French words on it and the head die is called elegant lady so I hope this one is okay what do you think?

Zebra

Hello my dear blogging friends I hope you are well and enjoying the weekend. I am in work this afternoon but off to get my hair cut first.

I was asked to make a card for someone who loves zebras and I was asked to keep it 'simple' (difficult for me) 

I am pleased to say the customer was thrilled with it. 

I must try and remember to take more photo's of my commissioned cards, I give them to the customer and rarely  take a photo first.

• Spellbinders dies for the sentiment which was computer generated.

I won't bore you as to why I haven't made any cards for nearly 2 weeks as I think you are all fed up with my tales of woe.

My hubby bought me some new dies to try and cheer me up they are the Spellbinders A2 bracket borders and I love them.

Just a simple card as I can't seem to concentrate long enough to colour an image, every time I tried it ended up in the bin xx

Hello once again my lovely blogging friends I hope today finds you happy and well.

Where does the time go ??? every time I get a day off I plan to make some cards and post them on my badly neglected blog, then something along the lines of  'can you baby sit mum'  'will you give me a lift to...', or I forget about one of my mums many hospital appointments, you get the idea my day off never turns out to be a 'day off'.

My card today is my DT card for the Sketch N Stash challenge it would be lovely if you joined in with us, all you have to do is create something following the sketch below.

Hello my dear friends and a very big welcome to my new followers I hope you all had a lovely Easter.  Once again I am sorry I have not been visiting your blogs, as some of you may know, wood worm amongst other things have caused us a few problems in the house but, we can now see an end to the mess and we can start decorating YIPPEE !!!

Sketch N Stash challenge #110

Hello my dear friends thank you for your lovely messages Re my woodworm riddled house.
Is there a builder/workman who does a decent job??? there are so many problems that need to be put right, including the plastering which was finished on Thursday and big cracks are appearing all over the walls, he promised to return to look at it Saturday evening but never turned up and is ignoring my messages. My hubby said he wants to sell the house and move into a caravan and that doesn't sound like a bad idea at the moment.

Showcasing Christine's New Home digi

Thank you for your lovely messages and e-mails, I really do appreciate them, I will try and catch up with you all as soon as I can, I only have a desk top computer and I can't take it upstairs as there is no internet connection, so the computer remains covered up and moved around the rubble, but I am lucky in the fact that my little craft room is upstairs and I can escape the mess.

The new home digi I have used on my card can be purchased from Christine Digi Shop and if you visit her blog you can see what the rest of the team have created.

Hello & sorry

Hello my dear friends, I hope you are all okay. I am sorry all I seem to do these past few weeks is moan first my hand then my MIL (no change there she is still with us) I have just sneaked on the computer hoping it won't crash as it did the other evening, it is in the corner covered with sheets but I think dust must have got to where dust shouldn't as it keeps crashing.
My hubby has just gone to B&Q for more supplies, we are trying to get the house 'liveable in' again what started as a bit of decorating has turned into a nightmare, we found woodworm has eaten some of the joists, floorboards and skirting boards, in the living room and hall way. I have cried (A LOT)  we are living in what look likes a load of rubble, big holes in the floor, all the furniture has been taken upstairs squeezed wherever we could fit it, so I am sorry I haven't been visiting your blogs and been neglecting my own blog hope you understand.
